Nestled along a quiet stretch of the north Pacific Coast in Oregon, in the village of Manzanita, 4th Street Studio and Gallery located at 125 North 4th Street hasĀ  provided visitors and the surrounding communities a look at the fresh talent of local and regional artists for twenty years. Each season brings new artistic expressions by returning gallery artists and those showing for the current season

Owner/artist Kathleen Kanas presents her latest handwoven natural fiber basket designs amid original paintings in oil, acrylic, and watercolors, pastels, cedar-carved salmon and totems, black and white photography, copper-foiled glass three-dimensional fish, stained glass window panels, ceramics, semi-precious stone and gem jewelry, and mixed-media collage.

People who venture in will find landscape paintings interpreting views of our pacific coastline, coastal forests, rivers and bays, beaches and towns from Pacific City to Astoria. Original compositions depict regional wildlife and flora. Art comes in all sizes and miniature oils and baskets make for future collectibles.
